What parts of the car chassis should be checked

First of all, let's talk about the components of the automobile chassis, which are mainly divided into: steering system, transmission system, driving system, braking system, electrical lines and other components. The purpose of chassis inspection is to check whether the lower parts of the steering system, transmission system, driving system, braking system and other parts of the chassis that are visually accessible at the bottom of the vehicle are intact, fixed and connected reliably.

The chassis has a lot of dust jacket, shock absorbing rubber and other rubber products. We should check whether these rubber parts are in good working condition in time. The destruction of melting agent, sand and time, it is easy to make the rubber parts aging and damaged, chassis abnormal sound is often caused by the damage of these humble rubber parts. Common cases such as dust jacket damage, loss of dust effect, lubricating oil outflow, over the long term, resulting in damage to the half shaft.

Secondly, it is to check whether there is oil leakage everywhere, such as the engine, gearbox, front and rear crankshaft oil seal and so on. We all know that the normal operation of the car needs the cooperation of various oil and water. If the chassis is damaged and the leaking water is not found in time, the "strike" of the car on the highway can endanger life. Check the chassis for rust and rot, if so, the vehicle will be greatly discounted, because this will seriously affect the life and use of the vehicle. Check the exhaust pipe for air leakage and rot, and see if the accessories such as the horizontal tie rod are deformed.

As an important part to support the chassis, automobile tires also need to check their wear and tire pressure.
